Who Are We?

Children With Hope Inc. (CWH) began in 1997, and is an innovative not for profit training organisation. Based in Melbourne, Australia, it works with partnering individuals and organisations in Hong Kong, Bolivia, USA, Thailand, Myanmar, Macau, South Africa, Uganda and several states of Australia.

CWH provides training to work with children at risk: the orphan, child soldier, child prostitute, child in an orphanage, child with HIV/AIDS or with disabilities, child of abuse.

It conducts national conferences (one day - two weeks) and courses (four weeks to two years). It aims to raise international awareness about the plight of children in today's world, and to make a significant difference in the way that children live and are treated throughout the globe.

The training offered is through national organisations, using national expertise and efficient training methods. A team of training facilitators with various professional qualifications and cross cultural experience, trains social workers, school teachers, child carers and others, both those currently working or wishing to work with children at risk.

The organisation was founded by Dean and Janette Pepall, after thirty years involvement with children. This couple has adopted five children from overseas to join a birth son, and have both worked and lived cross culturally.
