Graduate Responses

My favourite subject was Loss and Grief and the different reactions that children have, according to their ages. The majority of children that I work with actually fall into these categories.

We are working with children affected by war, and so some have lost their dear ones or were forced to kill their dear ones. The is lots of information we can use!

Care Models and how to care for children used to confuse me, not any more.

My best session was attachment and the needs of the child. I hadn’t thought too much more than the physical needs, but I learnt how to build a relationship with a child.

Please come again, don’t wait a year!

Your training was extremely beyond my expectations, especially when it was my first experience. The conference ignited and impacted my focus towards my organization

I think it should be mandatory to attend CWH’s training!

I know now that every child cries for a reason. Whenever a child cries I will rush to know what is taking place.

I conclude by saying that the facilitators were so good, these I have never seen before. They interacted with us so well, and were reliable and humble. I pray that I have more training with CWH!

Great to have time out of our busy schedule to reflect why and how we work with children at risk. I will reflect on lots of things we discussed in the Conference

The interactive nature of the CWH training is important as it allowed time to hear others points of view and their ideas.

The stories on the DVDs and in the case studies I will use to encourage my church to be more involved in the lives of children
